  1. Excellent video post, Sarah! I have bought the book and sold it; it was far too overwhelming at the time. (I find it hard to do with nursing babies.) You give me hope though that I could do this, one day. I really want to be a good steward of my time. The local library has a copy, which I am planning on checking out. Blessings!

  2. Thanks so much for taking the time to share that by video! It really encouraged me today. It was nice to see a little peak of the schedule from Maxwell’s book and hear how it’s working for you. I am trying out a few things here and may yet get their book. :)
You are so right about the timing of reading certain books. Terri’s book “Homeschooling with a Meek and Quiet Spirit” was one that was collecting dust on my shelf and I picked up to browse through one day and it pulled me and and ended up being something that really helped me through a hard time, giving me great practical ideas to help me right where I was at. I have since read some other books and blogs that have also come along at just the right time. God is good that way, isn’t he!
    So thanks for sharing today.

  3. It’s a budget. If you have a budget for your money, and know that the house payment, utilities and groceries are covered, then you don’t feel guilty about buying a special treat.

It’s thoughtful, purposeful use of a God given – a finite number of minutes per day.

    Good to “see” you!

  4. I’ve heard of MOTH since I started homeschooling seven years ago, but also thought I couldn’t handle it with a nursing baby…I think the timing might be right, right now, to try it out! ;)
